Fabric Pomander Tutorial

Materials needed:
Styrofoam balls or paper lanterns
Fabric of your choice
Glue gun and glue sticks
Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
Ribbon

I used a plain grey cotton fabric that I got from hobby lobby. Start by tracing circles onto your fabric. Then cut them out. My circles were 3.5" in diameter and I was able to make 2 pomanders.
Fold the circles in half and put a dot of glue in the bottom center.

Then fold them in half again.
Put another dot of glue in the bottom corner.

Glue the pieces randomly all over the styrofoam until you achieve the desired effect.

Lastly, fold your ribbon in half and glue it anywhere on the ball.
Your finished product should look like this:

each one took about an hour to make
