Cookie Fail

The other day I tried to make macaroons. and failed. miserably. They were supposed to come out looking like this:

Except with a chocolate filling. And I tried to add chocolate chips.

I put them in the oven and they came out flat and ugly looking.

And they stuck to the wax paper.

Which you are not supposed to put in the oven.

It smokes up the whole house.

In frusturation, I dumped the rest of the batter onto the pan, hoping we could just throw some ice cream on top and it would be just fine.

WRONG.

It came out looking like someone blew chunks all over my cookie sheet.

and it tasted like breakfast cereal.
