Monsters: Things I have no use for
Monsters have become sort of a trend lately with all the fantasy and sci-fi movies and books coming out such as harry potter, twilight, dr. who, where the wild things are, etc. I've seen lots of kids with monster softies and kids asking for monster themed parties. Here are some monster things you might like:
Inspired by the "Tattle Monster" (the red one at the top) who will "eat" all your tattles.
These are my personal favorite from today's post.
Monster Children's Toy
As a child, I would have to say that this would probably scare me, but as a grown-up, I think it looks comical.

Also great for a party or I think it would be really cute in a classroom or for halloween

Damask Decor
I love stripes and and polka dots and chevron and argyle and all sorts of patterns. But as a designer, I would have to say that the style and elegance of damask comes out at the top of my list. And seeing as how its about time I posted some new tutorials, here are a couple of fantastic damask projects that I just love:
Lets be honest here. Everything Jen from Tatertots and Jello touches pretty much turns to gold. She is a sewing/ crafting/ diy genius. I love EVERYTHING about her blog.
Damask Stenciled Ceiling
I don't think my arms could handle painting the ceiling for as long as it took her to do this, but it looks amazing.

How to make fondant
I know lots of you wonder how all those people get their cakes to look so smooth or how all those decorations can fit on there or how on Earth they shaped that cake to look like that. Well, the answer is fondant. and talent. But we are going to focus on the fondant part.
Here is an example of how nice fondant makes your cake look rather than smearing globs of frosting across the top while you rip half the cake up:
Disclaimer: Your cake is not going to turn out this well.
This lady has talent
So I thought I would share some recipes with you so that you can waste away the rest of your lives trying to make that perfect looking cake so that you can start your own cake decorating business and get rich:

Things Made with sticks
Sorry I haven't posted in a week. I was on vacation down in Arizona soaking up some sun before the long treacherous winter that looms before us here in Utah. So upon my return, I thought I would stick to something simple: things you can make with sticks.
