COOL(aid)!

Did you ever think of using kool-aid as a dye? me neither. But it totally works. Here are some awesome examples:
Kool-aid dye chart for fabric. It's cheaper than rit!

Koo-aid dyed yarn

Kool-aid to UN-stain (that's probably not a word) your dishes.
It has to be this specific kind, though

Kool-aid to dye hair!
I really, really, really want to try this, but I am probably not brave enough.

Etsy Shop Update

I finally got around to finishing up a party pack. Its been difficult to find time between work and all the other things I'm doing with my life. I didn't realize how much work goes into one of them, but it is well worth it in the end because I think it turned out marvelous. This one is for halloween, one of the two that I will be doing this halloween. The other one is still in the making. Making party packs is the reason I opened my etsy shop in the first place, so it is exciting to be able to post my first one. Until I get more, I hope you enjoy all the other products in my shop, because graphic design in my passion and I love what I do.http://www.etsy.com/listing/81044809/printable-halloween-party-pack?ref=pr_shop

Fabulous Fabrics

Seeing as how I work at Joann's, and spend all my time oogling over new fabrics and patterns, Ithought I would post some fabulous fabric collections from Denyse Schmidt, Joel Dewberry, Amy Butler, and Riley Blake.

Aren't they amazing?!

MoD PoDgE!

Mod Podge is my absolute Favorite glue of all time. And how could it not be with all the amazing projects below? I just want to mod podge everything and i am in love with all the new and creative mod podge tutorials that are always popping up all over the blogosphere. here are a few popular ones right now:

Gorgeous Mod Podge Tile Coasters. If only I had a use for coasters in my home right now...

Super Cute Modge Podge Plates. If I owned clear glass or plastic plates, this is what I would be doing right now. These are adorable!

Mod Podged (is that a word?) Jar lids. How chic. Of all the tutorials out there on ways to decorate jars, I think this is my fav.

And of course I had to throw in something for Halloween. I love these wood blocks for every holiday.

Monsters: Things I have no use for

Monsters have become sort of a trend lately with all the fantasy and sci-fi movies and books coming out such as harry potter, twilight, dr. who, where the wild things are, etc. I've seen lots of kids with monster softies and kids asking for monster themed parties. Here are some monster things you might like:

Monster Tissue Boxes
Inspired by the "Tattle Monster" (the red one at the top) who will "eat" all your tattles.
These are my personal favorite from today's post.

Monster Children's Toy
As a child, I would have to say that this would probably scare me, but as a grown-up, I think it looks comical.

Monster Cupcakes
Perfect for a monster themed party.

Monster Window Decor
Also great for a party or I think it would be really cute in a classroom or for halloween
